What's the difference between Yirgacheffe, Sidamo, and Guji?

All three are Ethiopian growing regions. Yirgacheffe is best known for floral, tea-like washed coffees. Sidamo is the larger surrounding region with similar character. Guji has emerged in the last decade as a distinct origin with bold, often natural-process expressions.

Washed vs natural Ethiopian coffee?

Washed lots are clean, bright, and floral, with notes of bergamot, jasmine, and citrus. Naturals are wilder: blueberry, strawberry jam, fermented fruit. The same farm can produce both. Try one of each from a roaster you trust.
